Hi!
Let's say it is possible to change the memory chip of an iPhone 5 yourself (very precise soldering). Would that get rid of the iCloud lock? Is that data stored on the 16gb chip? And will the iPhone boot and connect to iTunes? Because the memory chip is clean, so is the firmware the only thing that's needed to start the phone?
I'm asking because I bought an iCloud locked phone and I just can't get my head around it that I can't access the phone.. There must be a way to cheaply bypass this problem
