Question Replace sticky keys with custom functionality?

In Windows, If you pressed SHIFT 5 times you will open sticky keys window. I don't use sticky keys so I would like to open CMD instead of sethc.exe for that key combination. If you simply replace sethc.exe with CMD.exe, the opened CMD will not be fully functional and misses some tools. So I would like to change the invoking of sethc itself to CMD in registry or something, how can I do that?

Why not just create a desktop shortcut that launches cmd.exe?

Path is probably C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe

Use "WIN" + "R" to open the Run window. type "cmd.exe" (without quotes) in the Open box.

That should take you to the Command Prompt and show the path at the top edge of the Window. Just to confirm the path.

Also: stay out of the Registry. Registry edits are a last resort and you must be very sure that your system is fully backed up and known to be recoverable via those backups.

The reason I want to set it to Stick keys is so I can launch CMD even before user logins SO I can change user password If I want or do some other stuff right from the login screen.

Not appropriate.

It appears that you are attempting to circumvent user login security.

Overall, there is truly no way to know what you are trying to do.

It is against Forum rules to assist with such things.
