[SOLVED] Replace Word with Google Docs ussing fWindows file exploer by downloading Google drive.

I use MS Word with Windows File Explorer and have many documents saved that way.
I tried to replace Word with Google Docs by downloading Google Drive but I but I had trouble which is difficult to explain.
Is it possible to replace Word with Google Docs using Windows 11 file explorer by installing Google Drive to desk top or any other way?
If so could you please help me out with the process I have tried YouTube and I have not had success.
I'd like to give more details but basically I just want to have Windows file explorer that has Word and replace Word with Google Docs.

File Explorer is simply the pointer to the document files where they live on your storage device.

The application you use to open/edit the file is completely different.
MS Word, LibreOffice Writer, Google Docs.

Given a fully compatible file, you can open the same file with any of those applications. And others.
 
I now do not think I can replace Word with Google .Docx but will continue to read your link, thank you.
I was trying to run Google docx in file explorer but that would be too easy, I guess.
I guess I am fussy but the closest I came to a Word alternative was Atlantis Word processor, however I could not paste from an important bank page to Atlantis with an image, only text. I do not know how to use Google with file explorer like I do with Word. Libre Office has too many settings
 
I may end up paying for Macrium Reflect before the 1st of Jan 2024 and renew my MS Home and Student 2019 to 2021 or the latest to be fully supported.
Well, I learned a lot anyway. Having a pc is getting to be an expensive deal done properly.
