My GPU recently died so I replaced it today.
specs:
-----------------------------------
MSI P67A-C43 B3 Intel P67
i5 2500k unlocked
Old:Radeon HD 7850 2 GB
New: PNY GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB
-----
Swapped out GPU. Now, when turning on computer, black screen with B2 in bottom right hand. Cannot get into bios.
Rebooted. I unplugged everything, hit power button to drain power, removed BIOS battery, hit power button, put battery back in - turned on and same thing.
Booted in safe mode, Ran DDU, rebooted to regular mode, same trouble.
Placed back in Safe Mode, it looks like I am running Windows basic graphics driver when I go into DxDiag but in my Device Manager I see my GPU and it says the GeForce driver is installed.
This machine only gives me video output when in safe mode
I am at a complete loss for what to do now. I spent hours on this thing today because I need it for work tomorrow.
