As the title says, I recently replaced my old SSD (Western Digital Blue SN550 1TB) for a new one (Western Digital Blue SN5000 4TB). I couldn't copy my files over so I decided to start from scratch and redownload everything onto my new SSD. Before installing my new SSD, I download the windows installation media onto a USB so I could install windows onto my new SSD. I feel like I've tried just about everything to see what could be the issue (cleaning out my pc, readjusting my graphic settings in game, updating drivers), I can't pinpoint the issue as I didn't have any issues running games until I installed my new SSD.

PC specs:
NZXT H210 (White)
NZXT Kraken M22
MSI B450I GAMING PLUS AC
NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX™ 3060 TI - GIGABYTE GAMING OC
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core 3.6GHz
Seasonic Focus Plus Platinum 650W
Team T-FORCE Delta RGB 3200MHz 3200 MHz 16GB (2 X 8 GB)
Western Digital SN5000 NVMe 4tb

MSI B450I GAMING PLUS AC
What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

I decided to start from scratch
Did you install the OS in offline mode(sans the www) to later install all relevant drivers with the latest versions in an elevated command, i.e, Right click in staller>Run as Administrator?

Seasonic Focus Plus Platinum 650W
How old is the PSU in your build?

As for the SN5000 drive, can you touch the drive and see how hot it's getting and if it's got a relation to when the performance drops...?

Thank you for the warm welcome! The BIOS vers I’m currently running is E7A40AMS.BE2. Yes I installed my OS in offline mode. I believe the PSU is about 3 years old, turning 4 in March. I actually reverted back to my 1tb ssd… and last night my pc kept turning off whenever I try to log in. I haven’t tried it this morning though…

My fans seemed to be working fine and my cpu felt slightly warm when it was running before it shut on me.

I haven’t but I’ll take note of this. Running Windows 10 at the moment.

Other things to try redownload the windows media but there will be a option choose option not for this pc this will make it a completely fresh copy.

Just because of the density of 4tb which is most likely stacked I would Def get the nvme.

I would go with

Be quiet mc1 ( not pro version as that tends to conflict with some hardware.)
