Yes, before everyone starts screaming update your rig. Well, I won't yet.

Not knowing when I will update,(mainly waiting for the new UT to be released)

So yesterday my second 8800 GTS died in aprox 6 months(around 7-8 years old both of them)

What I have:

MSI P35 platinum NEO2
C2D E6750 @ 3.5Ghz
4GB of corsair ram running 1/1 FSB/memory

I am playing LoL and CSGO and could run those very fine on max settings (not for CS but they where more then good enough).

However I could not run COH2 which kinda sucked since I played the original COH allot.

I know that my setup will bottleneck, but I'm trying to find a compromise.

What used video(or new) would u guys recommend.

I was shopping for a used HD4870 or GTX 280?

I've been to long out of hardware and any usefull info would be welcome.

Those are both so old and slow, that it would not be worth it. If you let me know your budget for a card, I'll help you find the best for the money with little bottleneck using the slower dual core and DDR2 memory. But there's no sense me suggesting a $500 fast card if your budget is only able to buy a $100 slow card.
