Replacement Mobo

I was one of the poor, unfortunate souls who bought MSI's K7T266 pro board 6380(the first version). I have had nothing but trouble with this board since day 1.

I am still unable to run any decent games without locking up. So I am giving up on this board and want to purchase a reliable motherboard. I don't care if it is the fastest on the block, I will be happy to give up a little performance to gain stability.

I have a 1.33 Mhz T-bird (266 bus), 256 MB DDR RAM, 2- 75GB IBM ATA/100 Drives, Visiontek GeForce III video card, Windows XP Pro.

Any suggestions for a replacement Motherboard??

You're not going to want to hear this, but I've got the MSI KT266a Pro2-RU (the new version) and I love it. It's rock stable with Win2K, and everything installed so smoothly it was unbelievable. It's not the fastest according to the benchmarks, but it sure is steady.

I don't want an Intel Inside! (all those sharp corners and pins)
