Hi!

I've decided to replace my dead H60 120mm cooler / fan with the H100X 240mm one to give more cooling to the CPU.

That being said, my cooler is currently installed in the rear of my case and I'd need to move it to the top. There's a case fan in the top of the case right now where the 240mm cooler would need to go.

My question is whether I need to purchase a replacement case fan to go on the rear (top one is too big to go at the rear I believe)

Here's my case:
Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced

It's running an i7 3930K, 850W PSU, NVIDIA GTX 970 and a couple of HDDs

thanks!

The H100x will take the place of top exhaust and you don't need a rear exhaust at all unless you have a tower aircooler that's shoving all the heatsinks exhaust in that direction.

Warm air is less dense than cooler air, so rises towards the top of the case naturally. As does any gpu exhaust. With the 2x top fans, you'll get better actual airflow than if you did install a rear exhaust, which would then compete with the nearest aio fan, adding a larger low pressure area. Overall affect is just added noise.
