Hello Guys!

Now, before I go into details I just want everyone to know that I am neurotic when it comes to PC noise. But like everyone else want decent airflow.

I recently purchased a Cooler Master Centurion 6 because i like the simple design and small form factor for an ATX board (Having previously owned a Centurion 5 and 5II) My Specs are:
i7 3820 (stock) Cooled with a ANTEC KUHLER 620 (IN PULL)
EVGA GTX 680 Reference
16GB Corsair Vengeance
Rampage IV Formula
Corsair AX760

So currently i have a single 140m fan at the front, a 120m intake on the side for my gpu, and a 120m Antec fan for the radiator. When I am playing games, the system gets quite loud for my liking.

I've been thinking about purchasing some Noctua fans, being the quitest and able to move a decent amount of air.

So far I've decided ONLY on what to replace the radiator fan with:
Antec Radiator Fan > NF-F12 PWM (Rear exhaust in PULL)

BUT, i need HELP deciding on what NOCTUA side 120m and front 140m fan i should get of all the makes and models!

Thank You guys! Any suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I don't know to set up a custom loop. I'd be too scared :) Im not asking for dead silent, just quieter than it is now.

Friend, Im very concerned about noise. If you check my gaming rig on my avatar, I can tell you its absolutly no noise. did you notice the watercooling on the side? Its not complicated at all to setup, things have evolved since 2004.

first, let me say something about the case fans. Its possible to reduce their noise by simply reducing their speed. Instead of conecting the fans to the powersupply, connect them to a motherboard fan header. If your motherboard has only 1 header, get a cable splitter, its around $3. then, on the BIOS, you can select your "Fan profile" to "SILENT" There ar usually 3 choices available, with SILENT being the quitest. Moreover, your motherboard probalby has some Overclocking utility letting you change this settings on Windows enviroment and set temperatures for each mode. This way, if you machine gets hotter then usual, the fans start spinning faster till its cool again.

Now lets take care of GPU. To tell you the truth, GPU fans are quite quiet already for $100-$250cards. The only way to silence the Flagship cards are watercooling it. You should disconect everything and check your GPU noise. If its uncunfortable, get a watercooled GPU.

You gonna be surprised that when you start silencing some parts, other components start making noises...you simply did not noticed them before. So...in the market today, there is only on silent PSU, the Cooler Master Silent Pro. Also, you should replace all HDDs for SSDs, as they are totallly silent and do not generate heat, allowing yout to have quiet fans.

Regarding watercooling, you also have to mae sure its a silent kit. You will be surprised that most watercooling kits are actually noisy. Its because of the pump wich has to be carefully choosen. Luckly there is only one silent choice, the Swiftech MCP-35X. This is the best and only solution. the 2nd best solution is the MCP-355. Virtually all watercooling kits are build on this pump or variants of it. Its a not loud pump, but no silent either..

Lastly, I have to tell you this...your Corsair liquid cooling SUCKS. Change it. Swiftech sells watercooling kits with the MCP-35X pump integrated with Radiators. Check them, they are 2x/3x more powerfull. To conclude, I recomend getting Coolink fans. They are silent running at full speed. I prefer to have the fans always running at full speed and the CPU fan header regulating the pump rotation. Wich is better, Coolink or Noctua? None, both are great choices. Actually Coolink is blonde, Noctua is Red hair. Thats its.
