Replacing Back Side Panel with Acrylic Glass

Hello. I'm quite new to PC building and the tempered glass back side panel (covers the wires) of my case broke. I think the culprit is the molex for the fans, it's like how you can break a car window with a spark plug type of breaking. Also, there was little room for cable management that I had to force it a second time but this time it broke. I'm planning on replacing it with an acrylic glass. Here are my questions:

1) Is acrylic safe for the wires behind the case? (From static, that is if acrylic glass is affected by static charge)

2) Is this design doable with thin acrylic glass? (This is for those who know how to handle acrylic glass)

3) The case has 3 fan front intakes, 1 fan rear exhaust and I'll put a 240mm radiator at the top exhaust in pull configuration. Will the acrylic bend again due to the heat even if it's in the back?

Thank you.

You're fine to use plexi. It can build a small amount of surface static charge, but it's not enough that you'd need to worry about anything.

Yes that design is doable in acrylic.

I seriously doubt that your pc is going to warp the acrylic since acrylic gets flexible at around 280 - 285 F which is about 140 C

Thank you and I found a shop that will produce my design for $17, black tinted acrylic. I won't get it until 2 weeks because I'm on a tight budget right now, can I put a large sheet of paper on the side where the cables are? Just to protect from dust and critters walking in (there's a lizard in my room roaming around). Or is it bad? I'm really afraid of ESD. I'm planning on reproducing the design with paper so there's allowance and the paper won't come in contact with the cables and the board.

I'd use cardboard, paper might be too thin and rip.
