First of all, thank you for taking your time to read my thread and provide assistance. As my now outdated signature shows I was the proud owner of a GTX 590 for nearly three years now. It recently died out and seeing as I already had issues playing new games I decided to leave it be and just buy a new card(s);
APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Within the hour if we can agree on a specific card;
BUDGET RANGE: 1000$, flexible;
USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming and HD movies mainly;
CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: Gigabyte GTX 590(dead), Corsair 1000W Modular;
OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: Intel i5 2500k(Sandy Bridge) - Gigabyte Z68XP-UD5 - 16GB Corsair RAM - Cooler Master HAF-X with all cooler slots filled;

PARTS PREFERENCES: Don't really care, but should be noted that I only used nVidia GPUs in the past and I'm most familiar with them;
OVERCLOCKING: Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe;
MONITOR RESOLUTION: 3x 1980x1080 (5760x1080);
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: When I chose the parts for my PC last time my biggest problem was finding a GPU that provided three ports that weren't DisplayPort as I couldn't find any reasonably priced DisplayPort monitors. I settled with the GTX 590 mainly for its three DVI ports. This is still a problem as I still have three monitors that do not support DisplayPort.
My monitors each have a DVI and HDMI port, would it be possible to for example grab a GTX Titan which has 1 HDMI and 2 DVI ports and plug two monitors via DVI and one via HDMI and run them all together with nVidia Surround? If so my top contester is the Titan.
