I currently have a 60gb ssd with windows and some programs on but i would like to replace this with some raid 0 samsung evo 840. I also have a 1TB drive and i was wondering if i could simply replace the old ssd and still be able to use the data on my 1TB drive.

First of all, forget about raid-0.
It does not improve your everyday performance. I know, I tried it.
Raid-0 has been over hyped as a performance enhancer.
Sequential benchmarks do look wonderful, but the real world does not seem to deliver the indicated performance benefits for most
desktop users. The reason is, that sequential benchmarks are coded for maximum overlapped I/O rates.
It depends on reading a stripe of data simultaneously from each raid-0 member, and that is rarely what we do.
The OS does mostly small random reads and writes, so raid-0 is of little use there.
There are some apps that will benefit. They are characterized by reading large files in a sequential overlapped manner.

A single larger ssd will have more...

A single larger ssd will have more nand chips that can be read in parallel. Sort of an internal raid-0.

The good news is that Samsung has a migration tool that will clone your current "C" drive to one of their ssd's.
After cloning, just replace your 60gb ssd. Your 1tb drive is still accesable.
