Hello.

Approximate Purchase Date: This week preferably.

Budget Range: Maximum $1200 (Converted from danish currency, since I'm from Denmark)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Mostly gaming, also watching movies and surfing.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: CPU/GPU/RAM/MOBO, I will be reusing a Corsair TX 650 PSU if possible.

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Komplett.dk if its possible for you to navigate on that site.

Location: Nordjylland, Denmark.

Parts Preferences: None.

Overclocking: A little bit in the future

SLI or Crossfire: No.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 at 120HZ

Additional Comments: I already have a HDD, PSU (Corsair TX 650), case (ANTEC THREE HUNDRED GAMER CASE ATX) and a cpu cooler (Arctic Cooling Freezer XTREME)

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My GPU broke, and since my PC is pretty old i decided to upgrade instead of replacing the GPU.

Now these are the parts that I have in mind right now:
CPU: i5-3570K
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 3GB GDDR5
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H Socket-1155
Ram: Crucial DDR3 BallistiX Tactical 8GB, 1600Mhz, 1.5v, CL8-8-8-24

Now I am concerned if my PSU will be able to handle the load from these components. I am also concerned that the new GPU wont be able to fit in my case since its a little bit larger than my previous (CLUB3D HD4890).

Furthermore i found this thread:

It seems some people have problems with the TX-650 and the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H, should i find another motherboard, if yes, which one?

Thanks in advance :)

Thanks for the answer.
Now can anyone tell me if the case is big enough for a 7970? And a great alternative to the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H? Would be much appreciated!

Thanks for the suggestion, however as I said in my post I already have a HDD so I'm going to spend the extra money on CPU/GPU/RAM/MOBO. I can see the mobo is m-ATX, shouldn't it be ATX or does that not matter?

Do you reckon that my cooler (Arctic Cooling Freezer XTREME) would fit on the AsRock Z77 Extreme4 motherboard?
