Question Replacing psu fan

Is it ok to replace my 120mm psu fan with a 4 pin 120mm case fan or would I need a 120mm cpu fan? Is there much difference between a case fan and cpu fan?

Do not open your PSU unless you know about electronics and electricity. People have been killed by messing around inside power supplies, even unplugged there is enough voltage stored in various component to give you a severe shock.

If your PSU fan is worn out, buy a new or used PSU and replace the whole unit.

It is certainly possible to replace the fan, but as richiestang_78 said, do not open it unless you really know what you're doing.
