That is awesome news,
as a fan of the nexus line i was and am very disappointed with LG quality of materials.
My first NExus, Nexus One from HTC is still up and kicking hard and it's power supply too! My Nexus 4 has already got the digitizer & screen replaced twice..

HTC had a really good quality of materials on NExus one, i just hope they stay like that on Nexus 9 and i will be the first to buy and promote the new tablet.

The Thunderbolt made me shy away anything with "HTC" in the name.

i really hoped they stay with Asus for their tablets. my nexus 7 2012 is still going strong. im hot sure about HTC for a tablet because they never made a tablet that had any success. as for phone i can't really comment because the only 2 HTC phones i had were from many years ago ( HTC touch duo and HTC Diamond) and they had windows 6.0 on them and the battery life was horrible on both
