Hahahaha, made you look! Actually, to be honest I messed up and looked at the wrong monitor when I posted the prices. See, I can actually admit when I messed up. And stop all the hate. VAT or no VAT, there is no way the IIYAMA will be available in the US anytime soon, so stop your batching about the price. All in all, I just don't see IIYAMA following through on their promise. There will additional cost that is yet to be revealed. Aso, freesync or adaptive sync have not even been tested or proven in anyway with hardware reviews. GSYNC remains the sole pro end and working dynamic refresh rate monitor technology. Too many assumptions many of you have regarding how well FreeSync and adaptive sync will perform. Only time will tell.

I can't speak for the US, but in the EU they will have to honor their promise of no fees beyond shipping. Consumer protection laws are pretty strict.

But it's worth noting that overclockers.co.uk have removed this promise from their product page, so new orders may not be entitled to the free upgrade.

There is no way for the consumer to update the firmware, that's why the monitor needs to be sent back.

Oki. :)
