Except the Xbox360 version will probably be pirated more then the PC version so perhaps they should push it back to and only have ps3..

This game will be a port job, probably crappy too like they hacked up the new Wolfenstien game. It will not see my PC. As far as the biggest game this Fall, maybe for the kiddie consoles. My PC gaming money id going to Dragon Age from Bioware and Rogue Warrior from Bethesda.

They keep doing this to PC gamers and the whole 'pirating' excuse is very tiresome. It boils down to money. I bet they're thinking that if we delay it on say PC, people are going to want to buy it for their XBOX instead and we'll make more money.

I can't really see any other reason for it. After all, they make the darn games on PC in the first place. And why would I want to by a console when with a decent setup I can play it with better graphics, more accurate controls and I have a mod community that supports the game with updates and additions that breaths new life into it.

I own all other consoles. But if I have a choice between bying say fallout 3 on a console or PC, I do it on PC. For the mods alone.

I'm thinking about cancelling my 3 PC version of borderland because of the delay. Me and my sons was going to play it over the network. I'll wait until it hits the bargain bins instead.

To avoid Piracy dont wash with me..
1st 99% of 360, wii, and pc games are out on net within days if not before release date.
2nd To stop pirates you must do system updates on consoles and each console does it a different way.
3rd on PC they have PB which is not perfect but it does a good job of checking CD keys.
4th CODMW was smart in one way, it turned a blind eye to CRACKED servers for a few months. Then once people were hooked they used PB to not allow rankings on cracked servers. That made ppl buy the game IF they wanted to keep playing online. It was a great way idea I thought.
If I had to guess why they are doing it is because of lack of supply of PC due to manufacturing or a BUG that they havent fixed yet. Since most PC games are released and have 1.1 patch out same day.

A game this good deserves to be bought. These guys have held off on the intrusive DRM (hear that GTA IV?) to bring us a better experience and we owe it to them to buy it and not pirate it. But some scum just won't spend money when they can steal it. I make it a point to support companies that do their customers right - like 2ksports with NBA 2k10, charging only $19.99 for a $60 game.

PC takes a little more work, it's gotta run well on EVERYONE'S hardware, not just one single set of settings for consoles

This looks like an awesome game but I'm more excited for Bf3 which is supposed ot be coming out late next year.

THAT is EXACTLY the reason HL2,CSS, Quake,UT,etc are still doing well despite all these years. Hell, I just bought UT for $2 on Steam during their anniversary. It's still a pretty good game to play.
