at least their not doing a blizzard-style 6 month delay to announce another 6 month delay. (yes i know blizzards games as polished to perfection cuz of this and i can't hate)
Ok, then Piraters will have to wait a whole extra 14 days as if the year long wait wasn't enough.. Regardless, it's gonna get pirated and hardcore PC gamers can wait the extra 2 weeks. I'm not gonna wimp out and buy it for my PS3. I been playing FPS on my PC for the last 10 years. I'll just put a release date in the back of my head and get November 10th out since it's not happening.
lol... i wasnt even suposed to buy that game... i was suposed to be hooked on Operation flashpoint 2... but guess what? THERE IS NO DEDICATED SERVER / NO CD KEY NEEDED FOR MP / NO CHEAT PROTECTION ... so GG 1 more potentially really great game dies because of consoles... seems that ill buy MW2 finally... IF it isnt delayed 6 more month like BF1943..
So, it's going to be a crappy port..
Good thing I spent all my monies on a good PC so I could play the games, too bad I can't afford the games now...

i know im just adding to the "OMG" effect, but does anyone think this has anything to do with Nvidia's new 300 series coming out along those times? maybe, right before November 24, 2009?
They're doing a simple smart thing to boost console sales.
Delay the PC version 2-4 weeks during which all the people who have consoles and want to buy the game will buy it. They won't the temptation of pirating it on the PC.
Those who were never planning to buy it will still pirate it, they'll just have a wait a little longer.
Win-Win
The only people that lose here are the PC gamers that actually want to buy it. But they are 5 to 10 times fewer than console buyers so it doesn't matter.
I'd be more concerned if Best Buy or EBGames/Gamestop said this. Until other retailers are signalling about this, I'm going to treat this as rumour. It could also be a regional delay and not a global release delay.

I just thought about that too. The production on the 300 series starts Nov. 27th at the earliest. Two weeks from Nov. 10th is Nov 24th. Maybe they are aiming for a promotion deal with the 300 series like World at War did with the newer 200 series.
