Reporting a problem with Notifications.

I have 1 Notification showing on www.tomshardware.com but I have no actual notifications. I can not show a picture as I have no where to put the image. But I can email it to an admin if needed as I have taken a screen shot.

The problem started happening when or just shortly before I got my gaming expert badge. Which is another issue as I consider myself more of a computer expert and less of a gaming expert but thats besides the point.

Also sometimes my little gaming pacman doesn't show up next to my name.

The badges next to your name only show up if the tag related to them is assigned to the thread.
This isn't a gaming thread so the gaming badge won't show up.
You earned a gaming expert badge by answering threads about gaming.
Answer ones about CPUs or Ram or Video cards to get those ones.

Most likely a notification from a deleted thread. Go to the following page and click on "Mark all as read" and it should go away.

added the gaming tag to this thread for illustrative purposes. note how once a gaming tag is added the "pacman" appears?

what images appear is based on the content of the thread and what they are tagged with (though please dont go adding excessive tags that dont apply).

once in awhile ghost notifications appear due to things like deletion as tits mentioned. mark all as read is currently the only fix.
