Request help about asset tag

Hello,

My Dell XPS 8300 has no asset tag in BIOS .. the PC is brand new ..

Why that happened?

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

It should be printed on a label somewhere on the bottom and called the Service Tag reference.

What about the BIOS?? I think the tag should be there too.

I can't say I've ever seen it missing but then again, I don't often visit Dell BIOS menus - they've stitched things up so there's not much to change.
