Question Requesting Motherboard Recommendation

Hi all - I'm a novice who has built his own computer gradually over years and spend a reasonable (see: unreasonable) amount of time gaming and using Blender as a hobby. I'm thinking of upgrading, but I believe my motherboard is in most need up an upgrade. Here are my current specs:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 2700 8-Core
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology AX370-Gaming 3-CF
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
PSU: EVGA 1300 GT, 80 Plus Gold 1300W
Memory: 32 GB (looked weird without a link)

I'm thinking of upgrading to an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, but it requires an AM5 socket while my motherboard uses AM4. I'd appreciate any recommendations to look over. Thank you for your time!

Where are you located? What is your preferred site for purchase? What sort of a budget have you set aside for your motherboard purchase? What case are you working with?

Chipset wise, you should look into a B850 chipsetted motherboard. What sort of features are you looking for in your motherboard purchase? You will also need DDR5-6000MHz ram to pair with the motherboard and processor since the newer processor don't have two memory controllers(DDR4/DDR5) like Intel's counterpart.

Hi Lutfij - I'm willing to spend around $200 for the motherboard. I'm too far from any major part distributor locations so I'm looking to purchase from an online distributor that can ship to the US. My current case form is ATX.

I'll have to consider if it's worth upgrading since I will need to buy DDR5 memory, but it's not out-of-the-question if it'll last at least 5 years before another upgrade is recommended.
