Hello,

I've built a few gaming PCs before, but I only do it once every 3-4 years, so I was hoping someone could give me some dummy-level instructions on connecting an AIO and 6 RGB fans (first time with both of those) to a case's fan controller and to the motherboard. I have the case already so I can give some pictures of the case controller situation if needed (although the newegg link below shows it great as well if you zoom), but the rest of the parts come tomorrow.

All of the PCs I've built in the past just had a cooler and a few plain case fans, so it was easy to plug the CPU fan into the CPU fan connector and the fans into the few fan connectors around the board. Not sure what to expect with the AIO power connection and how its RGB is controlled/connected (if it is controllable). Where should it be plugged in and will it have multiple wires to connect different places?

Also, I'm not sure what to expect with the 6 RGB fans. I assume they plug into the case fan controller (although the connectors looked different on the site pics. And from what I can gather from the documentation online is that the RGB is a separate wire coming from each fan that I'm supposed to daisy chain all 6 together and plug into the RGB connection on the motherboard (although that could be completely wrong)?

If anyone has enough interest to give me some instructions, it will likely save me a lot of headache tomorrow.

Thanks a lot!

for the AIO installation.
I'd also look at the guide. https://www.msi.com/Liquid-cooling/support/MAG-CORELIQUID-360R

Usuually AIOs are self contained. I'm not sure whether their own software controls the RGB on the 3 fans. Probably.

Sop you really only have to connect the case fans and their rgb to the motherboard. I think you have to download software to run them.

Your motherboard spec shows 2x 4-pin RGB LED connectors and 2x 3-pin RAINBOW LED connectors on the motherboard as well as x 4-pin system fan connectors.

Your motherboard manual shoul;d show you what goes where.

Hello,

Thanks for your help. Once the items all came in, I was able to compare the 3 manuals and figure it all out fairly easily. Now I'm having a boot issue that ill post about separately.

Thanks
