So recently a part of my HP prebuilt gaming PC died, and after rma'ing the computer, u was approached by an hp associate and was given $860 in gift cards to the hp store. I was wondering if I should buy the computer that the money was put forth to cover and sell it so I can get a much faster system that looks alot nicer, sell the gift cards or just keep the computer.
It depends; what are the specs of the prebuilt? How much would you deem reasonable for selling the gift cards? The issue with reselling prebuilts is that there are certain cases where the warranties won't transfer, which is one of the major reasons why people buy prebuilts in the first place.
