Hi
Last winter, I set up my rig with an i5 3570k and h212 evo. During setup, I accidentally stuck my finger in the thermal paste when trying to mount the cooler. Now, I'm getting high temperatures. Currently, I reach 60C in normal usage, including my favorite classic (low demand) games. 1.040V vcore, 3.8Ghz. P95 gets up to 75 in a few seconds and seems to stay there while I stop it.
I checked the cooler, and it twists a bit on top of the cpu with little pressure. I don't think it should do this. Should I apply more pressure to get it sitting right or should I pick up some isopropyl alcohol and completely remove and clean the cooler?
