Reservoir has bad thread and wierd light

I just got a fixer upper pc with a Reservoir with a light in the middle it has a leak where they're supposed to be threads can the threads be fixed with plumbers tape i want to know what the light in the reservoir is and if i should use it i am pretty new to this but ill post a link to the pictures

Don't know what that light is but for fixing threads it's better to use Teflon paste for hydraulic fittings.

I fixed it with teflon tape and shoe glue which works flawlessly

I think the light is a black light

plug the thread with appropriate plug usually G1/4" thread, the lamp is light emiting diode (LED) inside a small cylinder tube.
You must educate your self of open custom PC water cooling or you might fry your PC component, please don't use google translate ask your friend with better english
