Some months ago i upgraded windows 8 to windows 8.1.
Yesterday i got infected with stormalert adware and i couldn't get rid of it in any way.
So i opted to try to restore my pc to factory settings using a usb i made some time ago with the installation of windows 8 but when i try to do it, it doesn't work it says: I wasn't able to Reset the pc. A partition of the necessary unit is not present. (not sure if those are the exact words since i have the language in italian).
I even tried to do a system restore but it won't let me.
I built the pc, it's not prefabricated.
My pc is working fine (I just want to get rid of the stormalert adware,) i can't do the restore to factory setting and i can't do the system restore.
I hope someone can help me fixing it, I don't know what to do.
