I had OC genie OC my pc to 4.0 GHZ, and later I got greedy and tried to up it to 4.2. My computer crashed and when it reset, it was clocked at 3.5 again, the base clock (FX8320). I tried using OC Genie again, to get it back up to 4.0 GHZ, and then my PC wouldn't even launch the bios. it just showed an fps count in the bottom corner of my screen. I have tried several times to overclock it again, but every time the same thing happens, the bios wont launch and there's just an fps count in the corner of my screen. I have had to reset CMOS every single time to fix it. HELP!!! I REALLY WANT TO OC!!!! is there still any way I can overclock?

Solution
Don't use OC genie - notorious for increasing the voltages too high.
Set voltages and frequencies manually in the BIOS - it is not difficult when you know how
Lots of how to guides on youtube

Alright, new problem. I tried again before I recieved this answer, and when I tried to reset cmos again, the tip of my screw driver touched an orange/yellow capsule looking thing connected to the motherboard as I hit the power button on my PC. There was a spark, and now my computer won't turn on. Is this fixable, or is my motherboard fried? Also, would this kill my cpu as well?

I didn't have a jumper, nor did I know where to find one. Thanks for telling me its only the mobo though!
