[SOLVED] Reseting chipset and bios

Hello guys im thinking about reinstalling my windows because its been long time and i already have lot of documents and just junk in pc. But now to the problem, last days im gettings kernel errors(kernel error 117) wich is something with gpu driver. It cant be GPU because i already replaced it, i reinstalled drivers and everything. So im thinking about reseting my MOBO, i know there is way to reset BIOS but is there any way to reset chipset? because i have bad feeling that i did something wrong when i was last time installing it? Can CMOS reset reset chipset and BIOS?

there is no resetting chipset, it just a chip like the cpu

Yes. And whatever's in there is the settings that are used to configure the chipset. So resetting the BIOS settings resets the chipset configuration.

Reset BIOS settings first, then reinstall Windows.
