Hello everyone. I have finally upgraded my pc with a new gpu. Since i first installed it everything went well for the first 2 days. After that, everytime i boot up my pc it starts at a higher resolution (1080p) than my monitor supports (900p). After a few seconds it switches back to my native resolution and everything works fine, but still, its not normal. I confirmed my theory when checking the ini files from my games, as when i opened a few of them they were all set to 1080p. This seems rather odd because as i said, everything worked fine the first few days... I didn't have any issues at all. It's important to mention that my monitor only supports vga, so i'm using a hdmi to vga converter (which i assume is not the problem). I've also tried reinstalling my Nvidia drivers with no luck. It's frustrating because it even longers the time it takes my pc to boot. I have checked all my settings and everything is set right.

My specs: i5-4570
GTX 1050
Asrock H81M-VG4 R3.0
8GB DDR3 1333 Mhz
1TB HDD
Windows 10

Hope you guys can help me sort this out.

Resolutions just doesnt change like that whilst in a normal state, as in digital to digital.

Wouldn't trust converters since thats the only difference here. If you cant save 900p res in games now just means either the converter is trouble or the games never did set to the resolution you told it.

I didn't have any problems whatsoever with my resolution ingame on the first few days as i mentioned. The change in the ini happened as soon as my resolution started changing to 1080p while booting. Either way, i just changed the resolution in the ini and it stayed that way.
