Making this post again, because after a week there was only 1 answer.
Hello. Have this problem for quite a long time. Im using ASUS R9 280X GPU.
Problem is that after turning my computer on, pretty often resolution is set at 800x600 then i have to switch it back to 1680x1050 (my screen max. resolution) and sometimes it does change even when im surfing in the internet. One more thing is that when i drop my game (alt+tab) and then open it, the game changes resolution for 2-5 times in a row, and then i have to change it back to normal.... I've also reinstalled my windows and have fresh, latest drivers from their website.
