restore default settings at hardware and sounds in control panel

don't know if i'm at the right category here but here we go,

so i messed up the hardware and sounds settings in control panel cuz i wanted to change something. now my mic is all messed up because it sounds really hoarse. is there a way to restore the settings to the way it was before i changed things? i use a turtle beach ghosts ear forse shadow.

Go into your Speaker properties of the headset and click "Restore to Defaults". After that you can reconfigure how you need it.

this didn't solve the hoarse sound. and in wich tab can i actually see the restore to defaults button?
