I have an old hard drive which was my primary hard drive until recently. I installed HDisk sentinel which informed me that my hard disk health is not so good 51% health. So, bought another HDD (firecuda, much better)and made it my primary Disk. During that process of switching, somehow my windows on old drive got corrupted . I installed windows on my new drive. Although now, i have copied most of my files from the windows partition of old HDD, there are a few folders of personal nature which i am unable to retrieve due to EFS encryption. Now, my current scenario is that, my HDD is perfectly fine, but due to the fact that i have windows on another drive, i am unable to access those my documents folder. cant even copy it or open those files.
Important facts, : windows 64 bit,
old HDD still has all windows files on the partition, but its windows is corrupt. so, i cant boot and un-encrypt it.

IS THERE ANY CHANCE of retrieving those files.

So, i cant retrieve those files?? .. damn..
just to be clear, that old hdd is still in my pc and running as a backup drive. the only difference is that windows is now booted from the newer drive.
