Restore images from a formated memory card

Hi guys, can you restore files after a formatted memory card after new files are written to the formatted storage?? Is there by any chance it can be done?

I'm not sure how successful using a third-party data recovery software would be, but I'm guessing it might be your best chance at getting your files back.
