Hi,
I need help with recovering data/holiday pictures from my nokia 1020 Lumia.
My phone has died and unable to restart and keeps trying to start up, but shows a red and dead battery on the display despite recharging it for several hours. The phone tries restarting with a bright white flash and then dies again and repeats the scenario.
The Nokia Repair centre and Carphone Warehouse repair centre says it requires a software upgrade, but this means that all my holiday pictures will be swiped which I am not prepared to do. We tried backing it up with new battery, but no luck - the same error message appears on the display.
Now, I understand that Nokia & Carphone warehouse only offer level 1 & 2 repair services, and that I would need to contact a level 3 and 4 service who may be able to save my pictures from 2 months travelling (the pictures never uploaded to OneDrive via my Microsoft live account despite having access to wi-fi on a daily basis during my travels).
Would anyone be able to advise on which reliable repair service I could contact to save my pictures, please? Everyone says that it is not possible as my phone will not switch on, but surely a level 3/4 repair service should be able to help and recover my precious pictures - although I am sure it may be expensive.
Any advice would be hugely appreciated, please! Big thanks in advance
Christina
