Return GTX980ti for upcoming Pascal? DVI Ports

I have a GTX690 with 3 ASUS 3d monitors (DVI output) running nVidia 3d Surround. I just got a Gigabyte G1 GTX980ti which only has 2 DVI inputs, so I had to buy a $100 Club 3D CAC-1151 active DVI to DisplayPort adapter. It works, although the active adapter flashes the screen to black once in a while in an annoying fashion. But the G1 is the only adapter with 2 DVI inputs instead of 1 so my choice was kinda made for me.

I'm really enjoying the GTX980ti and its increased performance without having to worry about the SLI issues I've had with games for years now.

Now I read about Pascal which appears to be "coming soon," maybe April, with a 10x performance boost. Of course, no one wants to pass up that kind of boost, and after purchasing the GTX980ti, I won't be purchasing another for years. I'm within a 30 day return window for the GTX980ti, and I would do it, but I'm concerned about my DVI connections, which appear to be getting replaced by DisplayPort.

I may have missed it, but I haven't heard what outputs the Pascal cards will have. Is it possible my monitors are getting left in DVI graveyard and my new GTX980ti is their last stand? Or do you think there will be a Pascal card with 2 DVI connections? I am loathe to purchase two of these Club 3D adapters considering the cost and the flickering they produce. What would you do?

I don't think you'll see pascal in April, june maybe but not april.

I don't think you need an active adaptor for your purposes, something like this would work just as well. http://www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-com-DisplayPort-Video-Adapter-Converter/dp/B0017K6BD2 might be worth trying one for the low cost as it might put your mind at ease.

Unfortunately, an active adapter is needed for 120hz and 3d support. It was described as such on nVidia's website and on forums I researched on the topic.

Pascals not coming in April, theyre still wrapping up testing. Ive heard and again this is speculation (all we have for now) that we wont see anything until the middle of the year.

ok, understood about not coming in April, but I'm more concerned about the ports the new cards will have.

no one knows, and it'll vary a little by the vendor. I would put a lot of money on DPx2 + HDMI 2.0 + DVIx2 being the std for a while.
