It's been some time now since the last revision to Apple's iconic iPod touch. The fifth generation launched in 2012 and it has gone largely unchanged since then. Today, Apple announced a revised iPod touch with a much more powerful processor.

Seems to me that the Names for the Nano and Shuffle are backwards. The Shuffle looks smaller than the Nano and Nano, as tech oriented people know, means very very small.

But hey, who am I to question the iGeniuses at Apple marketing. Will probably sell like hotcakes even with better alternatives out there like always.

I'm still happy with my 5th gen iPod Video to which I've added a 1TB 840 EVO mSATA and Rockbox.
