Hi, I recently returned a router without resetting it to Walmart. I did set it up in bridge mode in conjunction with my isps router for a few days then I returned, it did not do what I wanted it to do. I forgot to reset it, could this become a security issue? or will I be fine? thanks

Solution
No, If you setup a password the new owner will have to reset the router anyway. The new owner's IP address will overwrite yours the moment he attaches it to his modem. It's always possible that a VERY LEET HAXOR type will mine the routers memory for info, but all he will get is you SSID, password and IP. That would be useless for the most part.
