I have a horrible A4 5300 paired with my 7770 HD and I was thinking of upgrading to an AMD Athlon X4 750K Processor. Will I be able to still use the same motherboard (MSI FM2-A75MA-E35) when I swap out processors? Or do I have to buy another motherboard. Sorry if I may come off dumb but I was just wondering before I actually buy it.

So all I have to do is lift up the CPU holder, take that CPU out, place in the new one? Will i need to save anything before doing anything?

Yes, just be sure to update your BIOS and everything should be fine. If not I'm here to help. :)

How do I update my BIOS?

The 750K is black edition. That means no fan and heatsink included.

You have to reuse your current one, and you will need the replace the thermal paste.

If you want a new cooler, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO fits socket FM2, and it also includes a tube of adequate quality thermal paste as well.

Clownwolf :while it is a black edition that does not mean it doesn't come with a heatsink. It means that it can be over clocked. So yes you get a stock heatsink, but I would not recommend over clocking with it.
