[SOLVED] Reveal your secrets, SilverStone FT02 Case

I'm planning to upgrade my system, but keeping my FT02 case.
I opened it today to check it out a bit (I did not build this pc myself, but chose components), to prepare for building my new system.
I saw some connectors and I don't really understand why they are there or what they do.

When you look at the case's front, this part is on the left side, where it's narrow and the cables are routed through. Not the mainboard/GPU/CPU side.

I went through the manual (https://www.silverstonetek.com.tw/downloads/Manual/case/Multi-FT02-Manual.pdf). It could be the part labeled as SilverStoneTek CP05. But it seems that part has to do with hot-swapping? I've never used hot-swapping an HDD with this system. Why is this installed, why are the cables connected?

It's two connectors. I can't get a good look behind.
What does the black, red, black, yellow cable do? Is that for power?
And what is the thin black cable above the black/red/yellow one?
And why are these connectors/cables at the front of the case, out of the way of everything else?

I tried following the cables to find out where they lead, but they go into cable-binders that are so full of cables, I can't tell where they lead ultimately.

I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you!

Looks like a SATA data and power cables, hardwired to the case.
Basically, instead of plugging in the HDD when you install it, it should clip into those on its own. "saving" time, I personally would ignore them.

Thank you Gam3r01! I think you solved it. In the manual, they talked about hot-swapping. So this is probably a pre-mounted SATA data and power port, ready for a hot-swapping HDD.
I guess the reason why it has been hooked up is because the company who built my last system just did it, even though there was no hot-swapping planned.
So, when I update my system, I can just remove/disconnect those cables and leave them out, I don't need this feature.
