I have my Windows XP set up to have the mouse buttons reversed, however,
whenever I start an RDP session to a Windows 2003 Terminal Server, I notice
that the mouse buttons are not reversed; this is quite annoying to left
handed users, is there a way to fix this?

Hi,
Like many desktop settings this is set per user and stored in user profile
on the server. To make it work you will have to connect to the server and
inside the session reverse the mouse button.
The next time you connect to this server using same user account you will
have the mouse button set reversed as requested
