Review my build before I buy the parts tonight please?

Okay, so as the title suggests, I would like advice on the parts I've selected for my gaming computer before I place the order. Recommendations for swapping out better parts, pointing out if something is overkill or not worth it, stuff like that. I've got the build set at just over $1200 or so, I don't really want to go too much further.

So what do you guys think? This is my first build and I would just like feedback to make sure that the parts will work well with each other and are of a good quality. The motherboard and memory are my biggest worry, because I don't know the brands nor the quality of the products.

I believe that the memory will match up with the motherboard, but I'm not too sure, so if someone could confirm that before I order everything would be great.

A few extra details:
I have to submit the order by tonight (in about 4-5 hours) so that I can use the coupon for the 660ti, otherwise it jumps back to full price and I would rather not have to order it separately.

The monitor runs 1920x1080 resolution, the build will be in a Phantom 410 Case, and if anyone has headset recommendations that would be great too, so far I'm leaning towards the Vengeance 1500's ($100). Budget for the headset would be $100 or lower if you do have suggestions.

PC use will be for gaming, BF3, Bad Company 2, Skyrim, etc., and I will not be overclocking. I'm getting the k model in the event that I do overclock (and because it's not that much more), but I don't intend to do that now.

I think that's everything, I know it's a bit much to read but I would really appreciate the feedback. Thanks!

It was a tie between this one and the one I have selected, the only reason I took the other was because of the more solid reviews. The Z77 is probably the better choice though, and it's in the same price area so I'll go ahead and change that. What of the memory? Is what newegg bundled for me compatible/a good value?

It is compatible. I would not have gotten 16Gb but 8 instead. Any of the DDR3 1600 with the tighter timings 9 latency.

It's similar and still holds a small savings from the bundle. I'm right on the edge of the budget so I'm trying to pinch pennies just a bit lol.

There are cheaper shroud style 660 ti cards that you can look at such as this one from PNY. Maybe you still prefer the EVGA model but I would at least consider a cheaper one.

Also, you really don't need to spend $80 to get a 600watt psu unless you plan to sli later on. The corsair 500W is only $50 after rebate. There is a such thing at too big a psu.

Also, as others have said you should pair a k processor with a z77 board. Otherwise,just save your money and get the 3470.

The main reason for getting this particular 3GB 660 ti was the coupon bringing it down to the price of a 2GB card. I'm afraid I won't budge on the card.

I don't have any intention to SLI so I will take a look around at the 500w PSUs, the 600w was just to have some overhead.

And as for the motherboard, the z77 is now sitting in my cart :)

I wouldn't mind paying the extra bit, but I noticed a review saying that the cords were very short in their case which was a standard Phantom. I have the 410, which is a bit smaller, but I would rather not have that sort of issue.

Dug around a bit more and found that the PSU cables will actually fit, so I'm trading out the corsair for the seasonic right now.

I think that covers just about everything then, corrected the memory, motherboard, and power supply, thanks guys! There was no real best answer since it was with various parts, but I'll select your last post jnkweaver as you were the most helpful :)
