Hey guys can you tell me what you think of this build.
Any tips and advice would be great as well:
CPU:Intel Core i5 4690K
Motherboard:ASUS Z97M-PLUS Motherboard
Graphics card:EVGA GeForce GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0 4GB
Memory:Kingston Hyper X Fury HX318C10FBK2/8 8GB (2x4GB) Black
Storage:Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001
Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB SSD
PSU:Be Quiet! Pure Power L8 600W Power Supply
Case:Cougar 5G01 Pioneer Mid Tower Case

I want to try keep this around $1500-1700 AUD as well ?

( I don't plan on overclocking this pc which is why im not interested in a cpu cooler)

Solution
- get a better CPU cooler, like CoolerMaster Hyper EVO 212
- instead of Seagate, get Western Digital
- instead of Kingston SSD, get Samsung 840 EVO
- PSU is of enough power, but mediocre quality: get XFX or Seasonic 650W, or Corsair RM650
- change case, this one is quite average. Check Corsair, Coolermaster, Fractal Design and Antec, just to name a few.
Can you reccommend me a psu?
I only want to spend around 100-110 on it if that is possible :)
Yeah i haven't found much on it but i really like the look of it
I will try thank you
if you have any recommendations please send them through

Solution
Also, if possible, I would upgrade that RAM to 16 GB (2 x 8 GB sticks), as we are already at the 8 GB standard. It will give you some elbow room and allow you to cap out the board at 32 GB without replacing your current kit. Again, it's not entirely necessary, but just a suggestion, if it is in your budget. Other than that and the things people mentioned above, I'd say it looks fairly solid.

will this WD HDD be good enough? http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=210_344&products_id=22582

xfx arent on pc case gear site which is where i am buying all my parts so i cant get that, the other 2 are a bit to pricey compared to this psu

Thank you for your comment but i dont really think ill need any more for a while but really thanks for that suggestion :)

At the moment, yes, but if you remember not too long ago, 8 GB was considered overkill. Now it's pretty much standard and will only move forward from there. I was just trying to give him some head room. 😛

No problem, bud. Just trying to help. I'm currently building one myself. It's been about 10 years since my last new build, so it's been a long time coming. The best of luck on yours. :)
