Question Rewiring portable charger

have a 4-wire USB cable colors red black white and green trying to rewire into a to wire cable on portable charger colors are white tan what colors do I match

On the USB.....red it +5V and black is +0V.

Your charger needs to be +5VDC.

If so....now you need to figure out which wire (out of the white and tan) is +5V.

You can do this with a voltmeter....or the documentation for the charger may tell you.

...but don't hook any devices up to the USB port until you are sure or else you risk damaging things.

Edit....I did some poking and brown is usually positive....so if your brown is positive that would go to the red.....and the white would go to the black on the USB side.
