I want to change the RGB setup inside my case but unsure how to go about it. At the moment i use a Cooler Master Mastercase maker 5 with its fan controller and a red led strip however i want to change it to be fully rgb. I am interested in the corsair HD series of rgb fans however i want to connect all the rgb parts (strips and fans) to a hub so i can control them with asus aura sync. I would also like though to still be able to use the led and fan controller switch on the front of my case for manual changing of speed or turning off the rgb strips. Will I be able to do this and what hub would i need to get?

Solution
If I remember right, the hub can connect 6 fans and the node pro can connect 2 hubs or a hub and led strip, just check the specs in the website.
And moreover, the LL fans have 2 cables. 1 for fan speed, which goes into mobo fan header or goes to a hub and then a fan header and then the rgb cables which goes to the hub and node pro then to a USB 2.0 header.
So u can control the rgb and fan speed separate or have 2 hubs and control them both via link.
Anyway, just read up the max connections possible in the hub and node pro and get the required number to connect them all up.
I assume you got a Asus mobo and gpu and this is why you want to sync the case lightning?

But alas, right now there is very limited aura sync compatible rgb case fans.

But if you want, the corsair LL 120 / 140 fans are controlled via the corsair link software. Just get the pack with the hub and node pro. Corsair also has its own led strips.

Hi,

Yes, I do have an asus mobo as well as a corsair h110i so I had one idea of how I could do it.
I could link 5 LL140mm fans to the Led hub that links to the node pro that comes with the twin pack of fans and that can then be controlled on Corsair link however I would most likely have 7 in my Pc so could I then link the other 2 (mounted on the radiator) to the two pump connectors and would they be controllable through that as I have the corsair link cable on my pump. I would then control all those fans on corsair link software (as well as one of their rgb strips connected to the node pro) and control the gpu and mobo on asus aura?

Ok thanks, i didnt know the LL fans had 2 connections. I could probably just get an asus aura rgb strip and connect it straight to the mobo for leds then cause the node pro only has two ports
