RGB controller compatible with ASUS aura sync?

If I use Cooler Masters 1-to-3 RGB splitter and connect that to their RGB LED Controller, will there be any issues with the controller being compatible with Aura Sync?

Hello! I will be building a full Asus aura sync build, but I will not have enough RGB headers on my motherboard to connect both RGB fans and LED strips. I will be using the MasterFan Pro 120 RGB fans from Cooler Master. ( http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/case-fan/masterfan-pro-120-ab-rgb/ ). I was wondering if their RGB LED Controller is compatible with Aura Sync. ( http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cooling-rgb-accessories/rgb-led-controller/ )

If you plug in the fan to the mobo header, it's aura sync compatible. If you use the controller, I think not, cuz I am not sure the mobo would recognize the fans from the controller which goes to a USB 2.0 header instead of the fan header.
