[SOLVED] RGB fan compatibility issue?

Hello,

I've been searching for this few evenings now with little to no results. Asked even corsair, hasn't responded yet.
I decided to add some RGB fans to my Corsair crystal 570X case, which has the stock SP lighting controller and hub.
I bought SP120 RGB PRO fan because it was closest I could find to the stock fan, which afterwards turned out to be labeled as iCUE. Now the fan shows only white light, with occasionally one yellow led. If I rotate the led cables on the hub, any fan after the new fan does not light up at all. (Fans must be attached to the ports in order)

Am I dealing with a faulty fan or compatibility issue?

Solution
The iCue lighting node core install video does state that you shouldn't mix and match fans on the hub. If anything I'd ask you to source the exact same fans as the case. In this regard, I'd ask you to ditch the fans from the case and pick up the SP120 RGB Pro fans of the same number you've ditched and pair them with the controller that the SP120 Pro's come with.

Right, so they're not compatible. Hub and controller aren't issue here, but the ever-so-slightly different fans are, did I get it correctly? Shame that the original fans aren't sold pretty much anywhere anymore.
Guess I'll go overkill with this and get a better controller while I'm at it.
