Hello,

I am assembling a pc step by step.
I already bought a pc case Coolermaster H500 and a PSU EVGA 650 G5
I read in the H500 case description:
"The pre-installed ARGB fans can be managed by either the motherboard or an included controller, connected by the included splitter, to create a comprehensive ARGB lighting system"
I don't have a motherboard yet
I've connected the RGB and power wires including the controller to the PSU but nothing happens
Does it mean that the motherboard must be present anyway ?
Thanks in advance

You got to have a motherboard to cut the power supply on. I would not jump start the power supply to just check fans or RGB.

Sorry, I just searched H500.
It should work but you will need a button to turn on and switch colors. They suggest you use the reset button on case. You could just jumper the two pins to test I would think.

Unfortunately, beeing no technician, I'm not sure to understand what "jumper two pins" means
I've tried connecting the reset buton to the ARGB controler.
Only having the fan move even without color would make me happy

Still beeing confused so I will try to be more specific.
H500 case, 2 front pannel fans, let's suppose there are 3
2 connectors issued from each fan

I suppose the left connector is for fan power supply and the right one for RGB
so we have 3 power supply TKG connectors
shall I connect these 3 (3 pins) TKG connectors to 3 (4 pins) SYS-FAN on the mobo ?

or shall connect these 3 (3 pins) TKG connectors to 3 (2 pins) connectors on the splitter and the one bottom (2 pins) connector of the splitter to one (4 pins) SYS-FAN on the mobo ?
