So i just installed a pair of "Aorus RGB Memory" i purchased a couple of weeks ago when they were on sale. Everything worked great and the memories lit up and started changing colors in a wave like pattern. I then went ahead and installed the software "RGB Fusion 2.0" mentioned on the package the memories came in but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. The program finds my "Aorus RGB Memory" alright but i can't do anything with it like changing the colors or how i want them presented. Any tips of what i can do to make it work? I've read that alot of people seem to have problems with this particular program but what's the alternative? I find the continuous cycling of colors cool now but i would appreciate being able to change it to a static color or even turning it off when i'm working, features RGB Fusion 2.0 seems to have.

RGB Fusion is a pain. I have to use it on my board to change the onboard rgb strip color and almost everytime I install it, it ends up causing weird errors. Last time the PC wouldn't turn off the RGB at shutdown properly and it meant PC wouldn't turn monitor or keyboard on. It wasn't actually booting into windows.

Shame the free RGB programs I know of don't support Gigabyte ram

I wonder if Mystic Light supports the ram. Thats the MSI RGB software... not on list - https://www.msi.com/Landing/mystic-light-rgb-gaming-pc/compatible-products

it could be its still too new to be added to a lot of these programs.

Thanks for your extensive reply. I’ve got a MSI board (B550-A PRO) but never bothered with Mystic Light since i haven’t got any components with RGB capabilities until now. Is ”RGB Fusion 2.0” the only way to change the colors of RGB conpoments, no BIOS option or program already built into Windows 10/11?

On your ram right now, appears to be only option you have is that program
BIOS options - Gigabyte boards would only have the choice to turn the lights on/off. Alas it has no color wheel
I don't know what options MSI would have in bios but currently it doesn't support your ram anyway.
No RGB programs built into windows.

People have been having problems getting RGB Fusion to see Aorus rgb ram for about 3 years now.

I wish there was one program that worked with all RGB, it would sure make it easier. I suspect one of the 3 I linked before will add it sooner or later, they support all other types.
