Hi, i am currently sitting with a Z270x Ultra Gaming Motherboard from Gigabyte. This motherboard can support up to 3 RGB Fans from the Masterbox 5 RGB case that i have. So my question is how can i connect more RGB miscellaneous items?

I know i can use a RGB Led hub but last time i tried that i fried my motherboard using the Cooler master RGB Controller i attempted to plug in 3 to 1 RGB fans into one port and 1 RGB fan from a AIO into the 2nd port (Which was the ML120L)

So how do you guys think i should go about this?

Solution
Fan usage and RGB usage is 2 different things. The mobo (Ultra) has 2x fan, 1x fan/pump headers + cpu, so you could easily control upto 16 pwm fans by 4way powered splitters just from the mobo alone, and thats not including the case. The RGB control for those fans is entirely different. Corsair unfortunately used the same pwm connector for its RGB, which is 5v not 12v.

The only way to figure this all out is according to what you have, exactly. Fans get fan control, RGB gets RGB control. So you'd trace the links back to where they go. And no, the RGB strip header is not fan RGB control.
