I purchased a pair of Corsair SP140 fans including the lighting node core. When I built my pc 4 months ago with the exact fans, I still had the pc case completely open because I was unsure whether everything was plugged in, so I decided to boot up the pc to find out. At first everything was totally fine, even the rgb worked. After that i settled my pc to my room and as soon as I pressed the power button, the rgb was immediately gone, unlike earlier when I tested the pc.
So what I did was opened it up again and simply searched for the sata cable that operates the rgb hub and plugged it in to another sata connector to the psu, and shiny rgb returned, and since then it had no issues and I happily used my new system with the rgb functioning.
However, I have just come back after being abroad for a month and now I the rgb lighting doesn't work again!
A couple minutes ago I tried to connect the sata to many different ports as that solution worked before, and now I have no rgb whatsoever!!!
I am absolutely fuming at the minute because I threw over £50 for these fans and I'm facing the same problem twice that now I can't even solve anymore.
My question is, what could be the cause, and what might the solution be?
